It’s officially spring here in Kansas. At least for a few days. This weekend they are already calling for more cold weather. Regardless, I don’t care! I’m ready for spring so I’m sharing a spring recipe today!! The first one of the season is this delicious Honey Lime Fruit Salad!
I love fruit.
My boys love fruit.
My husband loves fruit.
Since we all love it… we eat a lot of it!
It’s also such an easy dish for me to bring along when we are invited to BBQ’s or holiday’s. I always offer to bring fruit, and now, I’ll be bringing this deliciously simple fruit salad!
This recipe is so simple.
You start by washing the fruit. How do you wash your fruit? I wash my grapes, strawberries and blueberries in vinegar water. About 1/4 cup of distilled white vinegar and water in a large bowl and let it soak. It gets that waxy film off grapes and I think it does such a great job.
I don’t wash the kiwi or pineapple since I take the skin off. After the fruit is washed and cut up place it in a large bowl and then mix the honey and lime juice and pour over fruit and mix well.

This honey lime fruit salad is the perfect bowl of freshness! Perfect for a party, or just for meal prep for lunch or dinner!
- 1 lb strawberries , halved
- 2 cups diced pineapple
- 6 oz blueberries
- 3 kiwi
- 1 cup grapes , halved
- 1 TBS honey
- 1 TBS fresh lime juice
Remove skin from pineapple and kiwi and dice.
Wash all fruit and place in large bowl.
Mix honey and lime juice and drizzle over fruit.
Chill for at least 10 minutes. Stir before serving.
