Ingredients

  • 1 small yellow onion
  • 1 pound 99% fat free ground chicken
  • 28 ounce crushed tomatoes
  • 8 ounce tomato sauce
  • 15.5 ounce black beans drained & rinsed
  • 15.5 ounce navy (white) beans drained & rinsed
  • 4 ounces diced green chilis
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tsp ancho chili powder
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp minced garlic jarred

Instructions

  • Dice onion and place in skillet (or multi-cooker) with ground chicken.  Cook until chicken is fully cooked and onions are translucent.
  • Add chicken and onions to slow cooker.
  • Drain and rinse beans and add to the slow cooker.
  • Add all remaining ingredients to slow cooker.
  • Cook on low for 6 hours, or high for 2-4 hours.
